Bazi Compass

BaZi, also called the Four Pillars of Destiny, is a Chinese system that maps a birth moment onto eight characters. Bazi Compass works out that chart for you and explains what it says, without the jargon.

How it works

You enter a date, time and place of birth. The app converts it to the Chinese solar calendar, resolves the true solar time for that location, and derives the four pillars, the five elements balance and the luck cycles. The calculation is deterministic and happens the same way every time — this part is arithmetic, not interpretation.

The reading on top of it is where the app earns its keep: what the chart emphasises, which elements are missing, how the current cycle interacts with the natal one, and what that tends to mean in ordinary language.

What it costs

Calculating and saving a chart is free and always will be — it is a fixed computation and costs us nothing to run. The AI-written interpretations are what cost money to produce, so they are paid for with credits, which you can buy, earn by watching an optional rewarded ad, or stop worrying about with a subscription.

This app handles sensitive information. A birth date, time and place are personal data, and the questions people ask about their charts are often private. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored, what is sent to the AI model, and how to delete it.

Availability

Bazi Compass is in development for Android and will be available in about twenty languages. To hear when it launches, write to contact@astrallabs.eu.

A word on what this is

BaZi is a traditional system of interpretation, not a science. The app is built to be accurate to the tradition and honest about what it is: something to think with, not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
